Day 1:
Overnight flight to Johannesburg.

Days 2-3:
Onward flight to Hoedspruit and transfer to stay for two nights in the Thornybush Game Reserve at Main Lodge. Overlooking the seasonal Monwana River this property offers stylish air-conditioned suites with outdoor showers, private decks, extensive living areas and sweeping vistas over a water hole. Days 4-5:
Fly via Johannesburg to George. Collect hire car and commence the drive along the Garden Route to stay for two nights at the Hog Hollow Country Lodge. Days 6-7:
Continue via Plettenberg Bay to Knysna to stay for two nights at Belvidere Manor. Set on the edge of the Knysna Lagoon in blooming gardens, this property has been tastefully renovated in the Cape Dutch style and offers accommodation in beautiful individual cottages. (BB)

Days 8-9:
Continue west to the Grootbos Private Nature Reserve to enjoy two superb nights. Accommodating guests in luxurious cottages, Grootbos offers activities which include guided walking trails, horse-riding, mountain-biking and game drives, as well as boat trips to view the nearby seal colony, great white sharks and the southern right whales, which can be easily spotted from the shoreline from August to December. Days 10-11:
Head inland to the Cape Winelands to enjoy two nights in the heart of the village of Franschhoek in The Franschhoek. Elegantly restored in the Cape Huguenot tradition, this historic residence offers just six charming and luxurious double rooms with en suite bathrooms, each with their own traditional Cape charm, opening onto a small, shaded garden. Days 12-13:
Continue onward into Cape Town to stay for two nights at Four Rosemead Guesthouse. The guesthouse enjoys beautiful views of the mountain, Lion Head, Signal Hill, Table Bay and the city and offers large decking area and swimming pool. Return hire car before overnight flight to the UK.

Day 15:
Arrive UK.
